My thoughts and prayers go out to all the Monahans. I just read of this sad event. Dave and I go way back, friends in grade school. I am sorry we did not keep in touch. He will be remembered for his big smile and happy-go-lucky disposition.

Hello Monahan family,
I just wanted to send my deepest sorrows to the family of Mrs. Bishop. We all know death can be very hard on us, but I just wanted to share a brief thought with you. There is a wonderful thought in the Bible at John 5:28 and 29 where Jesus “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”
This is a very sobering thought for us to know that we'll be able to see our loved ones one day here on earth.
Would you like to know how?
You can email me at jonest617@yahoo.com
or regular mail
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 259 Elmwood Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07019
Please be assured that this is not soliciting and is also free of charge to learn more about this hope and others just as wonderful.

Denise, this is Tom Reuther.
Remember me from Welsh Farms?
Well. of course you do!
I was shocked to learn of Dave's passing. I really liked Dave. He treated me right and was a good down to earth person.
I haven't been able to find a job that paid as much as Welsh did. Oh I had a job at USR Optonix after Welsh but was laid off from that one after about 2 yrs too.
My kids are grown up now and I have been separated from my wife for the past 4.
Now I work at Boscov's in the receiving Dept. at the Palmer Park Mall and at the Express-Times from 12-4 am.
I was at the Express Thurs. night reading the obits when I saw Dave's name and hoped it wasn't the Dave I knew, but another one, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
I want to extend my sincere condolences and sympathy to you.
I would have come in person but I haven't had a car and driven for the past 5 yrs.
Yours truly,
Tom Reuther

Our family will always remember Dave and our camping encounters with him and Denise. He was always a cheerful guy and welcomed us as newcomers to his camping circle with open arms. He was taken from us at way too early an age. May he rest in peace and remind in our hearts and memories forever.
