Obituary of Gerald Emery

Gerald Emery, age 83, of Clinton Township, NJ died Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Rolling Hills Care Center in Clinton Township, NJ. Mr. Emery was born October 4, 1929 in Pattenburg, NJ. He was the son of the late Earl Lester and the late Frances (Gooley) Emery. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Jerry resided in Clinton Twp, NJ for more than 60 years. He was the owner of Jerry's Auto Body on Route 31 in Clinton Twp., NJ. Jerry was a charter member of the Clinton Elks and lifetime member of the VFW. He was a NASCAR fan and also enjoyed watching football. Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Rita (Lewis) Emery, his son, Gerald Emery Jr. of White House Station, NJ and his daughter, Melody Hayner of Sunbury, Pa. Additional survivors include his cherished grandchildren; Jason, Katie, Terah Lee, Hugh, Rebekah & Daniel and his great granddaughter, Sofia.
