Obituary of Charles A. Zawatski

Charles A. Zawatski, age 91, of Lebanon Township, NJ died Monday, November 30, 2009 at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ. Mr. Zawatski was born July 9, 1918 in Neshanic, NJ, the son of the late Joseph A. and the late Mary (nee Cholpek) Zawatski. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II . He was a self-employed contractor that specialized in floor refinishing and later general construction work for many years. Charles resided in Lebanon Twp., NJ for the past 30 years and previous to that, he lived in the Readington Twp. area.He is survived by his Nieces, Cookie Parkington of Clinton, NJ & Kathy Hansen of Hope Mills, NC and his Nephew, Robert Partak of Flemington, NJ. He was pre-deceased by his, Sister, Helen Partak in 2000 and his Brothers: Alex in 2005 & Henry in 1987.Visiting Hours will be on Saturday, December 5th from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Graveside Service with Catholic Committal Prayers also on Saturday, December 5th at 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, 98 S. 2nd Avenue, Manville, NJ. The Interment will take place in the family plot at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Manville, NJ.Memorials may be made to the Animal Care Sanctuary, PO Box A, East Smithfield, Pa. 18817.
