Obituary of Geraldine Patricia Lippincott
Geraldine P. Lippincott of Bethlehem Township died peacefully at home with her family Saturday October 10, 2009. Geraldine was born on March 13, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Joseph T. Mossey and Geraldine Mossey of Westport, Connecticut.
Geraldine, also known as "Gerry Pat," by her family and friends was the wife of Charles E. Lippincott. Geraldine was a graduate of Saint Nicholas of Tolentine High School in the Bronx, New York and studied English at Columbia University in the City of New York. Gerry Worked for the New England Telephone Company in Westport, Connecticut. Geraldine had a passion for sailing the New England Coast and Chesapeake Bay with dear friends. However, Gerry was almost as equally passionate about British Sitcoms and reading English Murder mysteries as she was her sailing. Other hobbies included: collecting antiques, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and tending to her herb gardens. Gerry was also a Member of the Northampton Country club and a long time volunteer at the Clinton Red Mill Historical Village.
In addition to her husband Charles, Geraldine is survived by her Sister Muriel Kelly, Daughter Jan Grover, Granddaughter Kimberly Connell and her Husband Michael Hale, and her two Great-grandchildren Declan and Logan Hale.
Services will be private. A Celebration of life luncheon will be held at 12 pm at the Clinton House, 2W Main St Clinton, NJ 08809 on Saturday November 7, 2009. Family will attend and friends are welcome.
