Nancy, Linda and young Chet, I want to extend my condolences to you all. My memories of your Dad are extensive. Having been friends with your Mom for so long I got to know Chet very well. I would often tease him about computers (which I love) because he hated them and we would tease back and forth. I will always remember his wonderful garden and his advice helped me and Stanley greatly in improving ours. He also shared his produce with us many times and it was top notch. Your Dad lived a good long life but I am sure he missed your Mom who also was a very special person in my life. As time goes on life keeps throwing you all kinds of curves. About 7 months ago Stanley had a massive stroke. By the grace of God he survived but is pretty much totally dependent on his family for his daily care. His vision was affected which took away one of his geatest loves reading, his mind is pretty good but declining and he is paralyzed on the left side. But we celebrated our 50th wedding anniverary in May and we both are totally, still devoted to one another. He is home with us and is happy and well cared for and what more could one ask. Our love to you all and deepest sympathies. Marie and STanley
