Obituary of Joseph A. Weber
Joseph A. Weber, age 90, of Green Brook Twp., NJ (Somerset County) died Sunday, July 5, 2009 at his home. Mr. Weber was born June 7, 1919 in Newark, NJ the son of the late Joseph A. and the late Frances (nee Keip) Weber. During WWII, Mr. Weber worked at the Pearl Harbor Navy Yard as a Machinist in the Civilian Naval Forces. He was a Machinist for the Ethicon Inc. in Bridgewater, NJ where he worked for many years before retiring in 1984. He resided in Green Brook Twp., NJ for the past 29 years and previous to that, he lived in Bridgewater, NJ. He was an avid photographer and loved military aircraft.He is survived by his Second Wife, Eleanor (nee Stasium), his devoted Daughter, Shelley Weber of Stewartsville, NJ, his Son, Joseph Weber of Sterling, NJ and his Step-Son, Edward Stasium & his Wife, Amy of Durango, Colorado. Additional survivors include his Brother, Robert Weber of Virginia, his four cherished Grandchildren, his two cherished Step-Grandchildren and his cherished Great-Grandson. He was pre-deceased by his beloved First Wife, Eleanor A. Weber in 1978, his Brother, Bernard Weber and his Sister, Marie Klein. Visiting Hours will be Thursday, July 9th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Catholic Prayer Service offered on Friday, July 10th at 10:30 am at Martin Funeral Home. The Funeral Home will open at 9:30 am on Friday morning. The Interment with graveside committal prayers will take place at the Spruce Run Cemetery on West Hill Road in Lebanon Twp. NJ on also Friday morning, July 10th.
