Obituary of Doris H. Arnesen

Doris H. Arnesen, age 93, of Union Township, NJ (Hunterdon County) died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the home of her Granddaughter, Tammy Melbourne, in Phillipsburg, NJ. Mrs. Arnesen was born August 31, 1915 in Lebanon, NJ, the daughter of the late James Ramsey Hoffman and the late Ida May (nee Haver) Hoffman. She was a United States Postal Worker and worked at the Clinton Post Office in Clinton, NJ for many years before retiring. Doris resided in Union Twp., NJ for more than 70 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Order of the Eastern Star of New Jersey, Hobart Chapter No. 63.Survivors include, her Son, Gary J. Burket of Flemington, NJ, her Grandchildren; Tammy of Melbourne Phillipsburg, NJ, Lyn Schubert of Phillipsburg, NJ & AD Fairbrother of Richmond, VA and her many cherished Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren & Great-Great Great Grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her 1st Husband, Earl Duckworth and her 2nd Husband, Daniel Arnesen in 1987 and her Daughter, Gail Fairbrother in 2000. All services will be conducted privately and at the convenience of the family.
