I was Linda's principal for six wonderful years in High Bridge. She so loved her job, and the joy of teaching her students was always evident. She instilled a love of learning in her students and, through that, she will live on in hearts and minds. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Kesty Family,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy as you try and deal with this terrible loss. In knowing the wonderful person that Jessica is, your wife and mom must have been a very special individual who brought caring and integrity to those she touched.
Death brings peace to the one who has been suffering but such sadness to those who have lost part of themselves with her passing.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Maryann

Curt and Carla Nowell posted a condolence
Linda made it a very special point to seek Curt out each Monday morning at school. She was getting ready for the busy week with her children in her classroom, where she loved to be and she always checked to see if Curt needed help dropping off my things to get ready for the week. We will miss her quiet strength as will all the children who were lucky enough to have her in their lives. Our hearts go out to her family. Curt and Carl Nowell

Our family is so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. Both my daughters, Sarah & Victoria, had the pleasure of having Mrs. Kesty as their 3rd grade teacher. Sarah only got to spend a short time with Mrs. Kesty before she left due to her illness and yet she made such an impression on her that everyday she would pray for her and ask when she would be coming back because she missed her so much. She will be sorely missed.

Our condolences and sympathy to Linda's family on their loss. We remember Linda Kesty as Linda Finn and a member of our graduating class at Arthur L. Johnson Regional High School in Clark, NJ (Class of 1966). I remember Linda as always smiling and always friendly as we made our way through High School. The words in our Yearbook still fit: "A fortunate addition to the teaching profession." Rest in Peace.

Both Gary and I worked with Linda at the Elementary School and our son, David, was her student for third grade. She was one of his favorite teachers. She was the sweetest and warmest person we knew there. Always kind, compassionate, and patient, both as a teacher and a co-worker. Had we known of her passing, we would have attended. Her loss will be greatly missed.

Ms. Kesty was my son's third grade teacher. Linda touched my heart when she asked me to join the class on their trip to Waterloo Village- she explained that she understood I was a working mom and that she wanted to give me an opportunity to join my son on a class trip. I went with the class and had a wonderful time. To this day, my son remembers that I was with him during his third grade class trip. I truly appreciated her kind spirit and generous consideration to me. She will be missed.

To the Kesty family, we will be sending a card with more memories we would love to share, but we wanted you to know that Linda was so much more then a teacher. We were lucky she taught our son, and please know that generations of High Bridge kids will carry with them not just her lessons but her personal care. She always went the extra mile, on her own time, to make sure her students were doing well, not just academically, but personally. I, Sheri Woliver, got to know Linda more personally and will treasure many memories. We hope you find peace and comfort in your memories, and knowing how many young lives she left a permanent positive light for. Sheri Woliver, Michael Jones and Will Woliver-Jones
