It still doesn't seem real. I still expect to see him pull up in the car, or to answer the phone. Or to come over to tell of his latest idea.
I really miss him.

Bruce, I will miss you with all my heart. I am so thankful to have spent a summer with you and France in New Jersey, as you both opened Haley and I with such love and warmth. Haley thought so much of you, and when she heard the news of your passing she told our friends and family that her grandpa had passed away. She loved you very much, as I know you loved her. What I will miss most is the boat rides(tubing), your storytelling, hearing you snore from the other room, your voice, your support, your letters, your encouragment, YOUR DREAMS! Brownell is like you in so many ways i can't explain but most of all he is always in search of finding the good in life! I know how dearly you loved Brownell, James, and France. It is my hope that all of the wonderful memories you have shared with them will help in their grief. I miss you and will never forget you! With love, Kristy

Poetic Tribute: My peace on earth has passed away, yes, Bruce has died today. He was someone I could talk to about work, my dreams or fishing in our favorite streams. The nicest man I ever knew, I owe him alot, but most of all,I'll miss how he freely gave his love to all.

Our hearts are greatly saddened by the shocking news we received today. Bruce was not only a dear friend, but a mentor we are blessed to have known. He was one of the most caring, kind and genuine gentleman we are priviledged to have known. His intelligence only surpassed his passion for his projects.
We will never forget that he drove all the way to Boston to see Paul while he was undergoing treatment for brain cancer. He took us out of the room we were staying in and treated us to a boat ride around Boston Harbor. Bruce did like his boats! He and Paul then toured a retired submarine. He definately lifted Paul's spirits with his visit. Bruce was never without kind words about his children and family.
Paul said it best this evening when he said "it's a terrible way to find out how much you love someone."
France, Brownell and Jamie,
We believe there is a special angel in heaven tonight.
With Sympathy, Sue and Paul Tursky
