Obituary of Truman Monn Jr.

Truman Monn, Jr., age 82, of Glen Gardner, NJ died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Mr. Monn was born July 26, 1926 in High Bridge, NJ the son of the late Truman and the late Lucetta (nee Walton) Monn. He was a World War II Veteran and served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946 as a member of the 99th Infantry Division. Truman graduated High Bridge High School in 1944. He played local baseball and was an avid model train collector. Mr. Monn was a Master Carpenter & Woodworker and a Rural Mail Carrier in Glen Gardner, NJ. He resided in Glen Gardner, NJ for the past 58 yearsSurvivors include; his Daughters: Elaine Mary Sutula & her Husband, David and Stacy Ann Becker & her Husband, John both of Glen Gardner, NJ. He was pre-deceased by his beloved Wife: Eileen Joan Monn in 2005.A Memorial Service will be announced by the family to be held at a later date at the High Bridge Reformed Church.Memorials in his memory may be made to the High Bridge Reformed Church, 23 Church Street, High Bridge, NJ 08829.
