Obituary of Richard H. Dillinger II

Richard H. Dillinger II, age 63, of Lebanon Township, NJ died Monday, December 8, 2008 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. He was born March 31, 1945 in Albany, NY the son of the late Richard H. Sr. and the late Elizabeth (nee Maerz) Dillinger.He graduated Greenbrier Military School in West Virginia in 1964. Mr. Dillinger was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran, he served his country from 1965 to 1968 and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Army Commendation Medal. Richard was a Welder & Metal Fabricator by trade and he worked for Coopermatics in Northhampton, Pa. for many years. More recently, Mr. Dillinger worked at Wal-Mart in Whitehouse, NJ in the overnight maintenance department. He was a longtime resident of Lebanon Twp., NJ.He is survived by his beloved Wife of 39 years: Mary (nee Baker) Dillinger, two Sons: Eric & his Wife, Colette Dillinger of Gilbert, Az. and Peter Dillinger & his Companion, Brian Rowe of Glen Gardner, NJ. Additional survivors include his cherished Grandchildren; Lainey and Thomas. Mr. Dillinger was pre-deceased by his Son, Richard H. Dillinger III in 1991 and his Sister: Judith Ann Fulmer in 1999.The Visitation will be on Saturday, December 13th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. Following the visiting period, there will be a Funeral Service on Saturday at 12:00 pm also at the Funeral Home.
