Obituary of Henry Krol
Henry Krol, age 96, of Glen Gardner, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at his home. Mr. Krol was born October 8, 1912 in Brooklyn, NY and was the son of the late Stanley and the late Josephine (Sroka) Krol. He resided in Point Pleasant, NJ before moving to Glen Gardner 7 months ago.
Mr. Krol was a machinist. He worked for GM Motors in the Hyatt Roller Bearing Division for 32 years before retiring.
He was an avid garage sale enthusiast. Most important, he was loving husband, father and grandfather. He truly enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years: Mildred (Wyrwa) Krol, his two loving daughters: Barbara Lands of Ft. Meyers, Florida and Dolores Papp of Glen Gardner, NJ, his dear son: Richard Krol of Livingston, NJ.
He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Casimir, Lisa, Christopher, Suzanne, Jessica, Mark and Lisa; his great-grandchildren: Lindsey, Nicole, Christiana, Joshua, Jacob, Elizabeth, Chelsea, Luke, Charlotte, Belinda, Tiffany, Kayla, Sasha, Rachael, Michael and Scott. He was predeceased by his brothers: Teddy and Freddy Krol, and grandson, Leonard.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, October 26th from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ.
There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated on Monday, October 27th at 9:30am at St. Luke Parish, 265 W. Mill Road (Route #513) in Long Valley, NJ 07853. Everyone will be meeting directly at the church Monday morning for the Mass.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover following the Mass.
