It is difficult to put into words how much we all loved and admired Herb. Our memories of him and Jeanne at the Cape will always sustain us and bring a smile to all of us. I have such vivid images of him raking the rocks on the beach to make a path to the ocean, swimming every morning and evening, making friends with everyone with whom he met at the beach, welcoming all of our kids into his cottage at an ungodly hour in the morning for breakfast.... His love of life was infectious. Herb was one in a million!
