Obituary of Jon David Engle

Jon David Engle, age 67, of Pittstown, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township. Mr. Engle was born June 25, 1940 in Hartford, CT. He was the son of the late Robert and the late Lee Alberta (Schotlender) Engle. He served in the Marine Corps from 1960 to 1963. Jon was an Electrical Engineer for Clive Samuels Associates in Princeton, NJ where he was head of Electrical Engineering Department. In his earlier years, he worked for Bell Labs. Jon lived in Annandale before moving to Pittstown, NJ. His hobbies included stained glass and cooking. He was a very active member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Lebanon, NJ. Jon had a great sense of humor and loved life and will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Pamela (Reid) Engle, two daughters: Edlyn Pangaro of DC, Kristen Ward of Florida and one son: Darryl Engle of Georgia. He had two grandchildren: Nicholas and Emily Pangaro. There will be a Memorial Service held on Monday, March 3rd at 4:00pm at Church of The Holy Spirit, 3 Haytown Road, Lebanon, NJ 08833.
