Obituary of Ruth C. Walley

Ruth C. Walley, age 85, of Raritan Twp., NJ died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at home. She was born February 12, 1923 in Valley Stream, NY the daughter of the late Robert and the late Lillian (nee Stoerkel) Fraser. She was an Office Manager for Connors Investment Service in Reading, Pa. Mrs. Walley also served as a tireless volunteer for Meals on Wheels and many other civic organizations in Pennsylvania. Ruth was a longtime and active member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Shillington, Pa. She resided in Raritan Twp., NJ for the past 8 years and previous to that, she lived in Shillington, Pa. Ruth is survived by her Daughter, Joanne & her Son-In-Law, Tom Yager of Clinton Twp., NJ, her Grandson, Brian Yager and her Granddaughter, Susan Pursell. Additional survivors include; her Sisters, Lillian Van Sise, Alice Russell & Ann Russell and 2 Great-Grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her beloved Husband, R. Kenneth Walley in 2003. Visiting Hours will be on Tuesday, February 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 6:30 pm at Martin Funeral Home. There will be an additional Funeral Service offered on Wednesday, February 20th at 11:00 am at the Indiantown Gap National Veterans Cemetery. The Interment will take place at the Indiantown Gap National Veterans Cemetery in Annville, Pa. - #717-865-5254.
