I found notice of Mary Helen's passing when doing research on the Groendyke family.I love her smile - and share her interst in genealogy and music. I'm sorry for your loss.
Mrs. Groendyke was my fourth and fifth grade teacher in the old two room school in Annandale. Of all the teachers I have had, she was my favorite. I was not a good student but she disciplined and taught me well. I wish I could have talked to her in later years. A wonderful woman and teacher. I am sure she will be missed by many. GOD BLESS.
