Hi Chris, Ian and Debbie,
I watched Lynn’s service today and I was so impressed and ‘emotionally moved’ by the 11:11 minute slide presentation. Everything I saw was ‘so typical’ 50’s and 60’s and I cried throughout the whole thing as I could ‘see’ my own family or any Union County family there! Lynn’s parent’s home could have been mine in Scotch Plains! Many THANKS to whoever put that slide show together. It was beyond excellent. What a unique life Lynn had.
Ian’s words about Lynn were very genuine, humorous, truthful and insightful. Yes, some day I’d like to hear about the ‘gravy story’!!! Lynn made herself vulnerable and thus, very ‘easy to read.’ A Gift of High Integrity and Honesty that I appreciated about her.
The camera kept rolling as people said their ‘Farewells to Lynn’ and I could FEEL the respect they each had for her. Some ‘lowered their head’ in deep reverence for her. What a great honor and tribute to have had so many people attend as many more attended virtually, like me.
