Tim Cunningham posted a condolence
My name is Tim Cunningham, I was a friend of Arline's son, Kurt, and worked with him at a gas station as well at his new tile store in the 80's...I knew his family, wonderful people. I have always thought about my friend, even to this very day, and decided this evening, (1/23/08) to type in his name on the internet here...and was sad to hear about his mom...if I could light 100 candles here, I would...my heart goes out to the entire family... may God be with you, and watch over you....my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I know they are both truely missed....

Early Years with Arline and John.
Spending Friday nights on the back porch of the Breton Woods house with Gramp and Uncle John! The exchange of stories was amazing !!!Did you know John Strube was the very best Tank Driver that the U.S. Army ever had!!!
During the day there was always trip to Garguilo's Oceanfront Beach
Back in Westfield early entrepreneurship set in for Uncle Paul. Every week he would straighten up the toy room in the Washington Streethouse for Arline. For his efforts he was paid25cents!!!!!!!!!!!
In later years Arline blossomed into a wonderful music instructorwith Students receiving National Acclaim.
It's very difficult to fit a lifetime of memories so I hope you all will enjoy these. Love, Uncle Paul

I am a cousin of Ken Osowski, one of her piano students---I had the honor of meeting Arline at Ken's sister Amie's bridal shower---we talked and talked all throughout the shower as if we had known each other for years-- what a delightful woman!!!! I know that she taught many, many students through the years----please be assured that everytime one of her former students plays the piano, she will hear every note!!! My sincerest sympathies to the family at this time... Sincerely, Diane GRossweiler

Arline was a no-nonsense, cultured woman whom I admired very much. Perhaps the highest praise that can be given her is that she raised a good family and left her influence on many more with her gift of music.
My deepest sympathy to her family.

Gogo,
I gave you that name when I was little, at first you didn't like it, but eventually you realized I wasn't changing my mind. I will miss you and our Christmases and your visits. I will miss writing to you as my pen pal. But most of all I will miss your smile and your hugs.
I love you!
Love,
Megan

Arline,
I am deeply saddened by your passing. I am truly going to miss you and our little talks. You were so supportive of my family when Megan was ill, that I will always be grateful. She always looked up to you and it is because of your inspiration that she is finding music as one of her paths. Dave and I always looked forward to the many holidays with you and the trips to the city.
You were my friend and I will miss you.
Love always,
June
