Obituary of Chelsea Jane Theurer

Chelsea Theurer, age 29, of Asbury, passed away at home due to a sudden illness on May 27, 2021. Born on August 5, 1991, Chelsea is the daughter of Kim and Greg Theurer.  It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that the Theurer family announce the passing of Chelsea, who will forever be lovingly remembered as a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, great- aunt, and friend.  

Raised in High Bridge and Asbury, Chelsea was a graduate of Hunterdon North High School and attended Rutgers University.  Chelsea loved sunshine and the shore, her cats, vacations, and, most of all her family.  Chelsea had a quick wit and a fantastic sense of humor.  Chelsea will be deeply missed by her parents, Kim and Greg Theurer, her sisters; Darci Cianci,  Molly Jackson, Katey Platts and their spouses; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial of Chelsea’s life will be held on June 30th at 12 p.m. at the Mountain View Chalet, 154 State Route 173, Asbury, New Jersey. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Chelsea’s memory may be made to The American Cancer Society in honor of Chelsea’s godmother, Kathy Altiero.
