Obituary of Bernard Joseph Balzer

Bernard "Bernie" Joseph Balzer, age 75, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2020. Bernie was born on December 12, 1944 in Newark, NJ to the late Benny and Marcella Balzer.

Bernie was a 1963 graduate of West Side High School. He joined the Air Force and fought in Vietnam. Bernie married his beloved wife, Rosemary, on July 22, 1967. Together they raised two sons, Christopher and Richard. Bernie was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather.

Bernie is survived by his wife, Rosemary Balzer; sons, Christopher Balzer and his wife Diana, Richard Balzer and his wife Erica; grandchildren, Lily, Anthony, Grace, Ethan, and Colton.
