Obituary of Gisela A. Pinta
Gisela Antoinette Pinta, age 90, of Clinton, NJ, passed away April 13, 2021, at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ. Born January 22, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Casagranda and the late Roamona Casagranda.
Gisela was a graduate of St. Barabas High School and married her beloved husband, Edmund Pinta, on May 2, 1953. Together they raised a beautiful family, having two daughters; Lois and Pamela. Gisela was a devoted mother and wife and very proud of her family.
Gisela was full of energy and never bored. She had array of interests and hobbies and was the recipient of several awards. Gisela found beauty everywhere. She loved the arts, including painting, music and reading. She enjoyed playing slot machines everywhere. She took to Tai Chi and chair yoga, and was always doing her arm and leg exercises. Gisela had a strong faith in God, and took pleasure in attending masses at her local parish, Immaculate Conception Church. Most of all, Gisela loved her friends and spending time with her family, laughing and enjoying one another.
Gisela is survived by her beloved daughters, Lois Pinta and Pamela Pinta; treasured grandsons, Peter DeBlis and Christian DeBlis; sisters, Laura Kucklinca and Irene Casagranda; nieces, Laurene Parlatore and Amelia Kucklinca; and nephews, Michael, Raymond, and Matthew Kucklinca.
Gisela is predeceased by her loving husband, Edmund Pinta;and parents, Antonio and Roamona Casagranda.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ from 4:00 pm until 7:00pm. The family respects those who choose to attend or not, due to COVID-19. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Entombment in follow in the church mausoleum.
