Jackson is one of my baby cousins. He was just a few months younger than my own brother, James, and I have very fond thoughts of all of us (Lea, Jackson, James and myself) running around together as children. We usually spent time together around the holidays at the Rannell's or Baker's house and these are some of my happiest childhood memories. Jackson was a sweet and kind soul, always so happy and energetic. Between he and James, the houses were certainly filled with noise! The boys and Lea and I would run over to the nearby playground and Lea and I would have conversations about school and other important little-girl life matters, with the sounds of two happy boys running, screaming, and laughing in the background. Sometimes our older cousin Sean would get us all to play along in the plot to one of his newest horror movies. Jackson and James were always the stars. At one point, I even remember Jackson getting involved in some of the production aspects and we thought that he might want to be a part of the movie industry someday! My heart is heavy thinking of all of the struggle that Jackson faced as a teenager and young man. I also have peace knowing that he found such a beautiful way to extend his love, generosity, and gentleness to a community which is so in need. He has likely touched countless lives and he will live on in all of this goodness that he shared. I miss Jackson greatly and I'm saddened that we hadn't had a moment to reconnect in the recent years. Until we meet again <3 All of my love, always. Your Cousin Claire.

Jackson, you were like a little brother to me. I remember how excited I was to have a baby boy cousin! We had so much fun together goofing around as kids. I will always hold dear your intelligence, creativity, sensitivity and loving, affectionate nature. You were the cutest and sweetest little boy, and I now see the same twinkle in your blue eyes in my sons. I wish they had known you and I wish we had spent more time together in recent years. The happy memories will always outweigh the sad though. I will always love you and am dedicated to doing whatever I can to help see your vision of helping others battling addiction realized. Brad and I send our love and deepest sympathies to Aunt Ellen, Uncle Jack and Lea.

Jackson, you were the closest cousin to my age in any of my extended family. Because of that, and our penchant for mischief, I always remember being a dynamic duo at family gatherings. I'm so sorry that addiction won the battle, but am soothed knowing that the struggle is over for you now and you can rest.
Rest in peace little cousin, your will be missed.

I do wish I got to know Jackson better as a cousin, but also as a friend & maybe somewhat as a ‘little brother’. Not because we are related, but so I could have experienced just a little bit of the bright memories and descriptions I would hear about J from his Mom. I missed out, and that is also my loss in addition to my loss of a close relative. While we will grieve his passing with you, we look forward to the celebration of Jackson’s Life in the near future. Love Scott, Lauren & Justin

Over the 6 years I knew Jackson, I got to see the transformation in his life since he put his trust in Jesus. It brings peace to know that in the midst of the struggle and fight, he found what is truly important. Even though we didn't get to spend as much time as we hoped, some day that will be made up for. And maybe we'll even get to have that bowling rematch :) In his passing his life testimony will go on. You'll be missed brother.

I never had the privilege to personally meet Jackson but through his parents and his Sister Lea I know the love they had for Jackson who was an exceptional young man. Jackson will inspire many and through his family his dreams and hopes will live on. Jackson’s life will echo into other people’s lives giving them hope where it seems there is none to be found. There is no greater service than to lead others to Christ. One word that exemplifies Jackson’s obituary is how the love of a family for one another lighted through in every picture and memory, and in Jackson’s bright blue eyes there was a joy and a hope that will live on. I pray I could have met Jackson but I know I’ll meet him in the Kingdom one day and embrace him as a Brother. May Jackson’s baptism inspire many to accept Jesus as Savior and to be baptized.
Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise. You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy! For your dew is a dew of light, and the earth will give birth to the dead.”

My precious baby brother who I loved (love). My flesh grieves and sorrows for what you struggled with and to not see you again in this life but my Spirit rejoices that you are free, healed, and in the hand of our Savior. My heart rejoices that I will see you again because of what Christ did for us on that cross. One of the best qualities in my brother was that he was always able to rejoice for the salvation and sanctification of others. He loved testimony videos and was so supportive of God's sanctifying work in others. I will aim to refine that quality in my own heart, to rejoice for others despite my own circumstances or struggles. If it be the Fathers will, I pray He would share this with you: I will see you at the resurrection kiddo, I love you with all my heart.
Love, Lea-Lea
