Obituary of Janet Gonshor
Janet (nee Case) Gonshor, age 80, of Clinton, NJ, passed peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2021 at home with her beloved family by her side. Janet was born June 29, 1940 in Three Bridges, NJ to the late Samuel Case and the late Eleanor (nee Van Luvanee) Case.
Janet was raised in Flemington, NJ and moved to Clinton in 1962. Janet married the love of her life, Frank Gonshor, on March 2, 1968. Janet was the proud mother of five children; Lee Allan, Linda, Robin, Mark, and Steven. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
Janet liked to spend her free time gardening and doing yard work alongside her husband. She enjoyed beautiful flowers and had a special fondness for frogs, angels and lambs. A music fan, Janet enjoyed listening to Kenny Roger's Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and Elvis. She also loved watching the tv shw Gunsmoke. Janet loved her dogs dearly; April, Buffy, Casey, and her grand dog; Marshall.
Janet will be remembered for her contagious laugh, beautiful smile, and kind heart to all.
Janet will be forever missed by her beloved husband, Frank Gonshor; daughters, Linda Arzberger, Robin Arzberger; sons, Mark Gonshor and his wife Valerie, Steven Gonshor and his wife Janet; special friend, Lenny; brother, Herbert Van Luvanee and his wife Ellen; sister, Peggy Ann Fisher and her companion Lyman; grandchildren, Russell and his wife Vicky; Crystalynn, Chelsea, Angela, Kameron; great-grandchildren, Sage, Cayden, Jenny, Landon, Ilias, and Johann; many nieces and nephews.
Janet is predeceased by her son, Lee Allan Arzberger; sister, Betty Smith; brothers, James Van Luvanee and Robert Case.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 10:00 am until the service begins at 12:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. Interment will follow at the Newell Cemetery in Flemington, NJ.
