Obituary of John Vincent Vasselli

John Vincent Vasselli of High Bridge, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020, at the age of 72. Born on July 13, 1948, in Irvington, NJ, John was the son of the late Vincent and Stella Vasselli.

John was a graduate of Montclair University where he earned his teaching degree. He was a passionate and dedicated teacher. John married his beloved wife, Susan Barton, on August 1, 1982. Together they raised two daughters, Gina and Marisa, whom they adored. John was also a very proud grandfather. He loved spending time and playing with his granddaughters whenever possible.

John had several hobbies. He enjoyed playing baseball as well as being an umpire. He also liked to play pool and play golf. John will always be remembered as a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, and teacher.

John will be forever missed by his beloved wife, Susan; daughters; Gina Vasselli and Marisa Gorbsky; granddaughters; sisters, Janice Sileo and Valerie Cantella.

He is predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Stella Vasselli.
