Obituary of Alphonse P. Staniulis
Alphonse P. Staniulis, age 84, of Bethlehem Twp., NJ died Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at home. Mr. Staniulis was born May 15, 1923 in Elizabeth, NJ the son of the late Anthony and the late Martha (nee Rinkevicius) Staniulis.
He served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946 during World War II . Mr. Staniulis was an avid Sportsman who enjoyed Hunting & Fishing. He lived in Bethlehem Twp, NJ for most of his life. Alphonse was employed by Mannon Excavating in Flemington, NJ where he worked in Road Construction. In addition, he was a lifelong Farmer.
He is survived by his beloved Wife of 58 years: Marion (nee Young), his devoted Daughters: Karen Chardoussin & her husband, Paul of Flemington, NJ, Diane Gogal & her husband, Richard of Washington, NJ, Sandi Avery & her husband, Mark of Andover, NJ, and Traci Staniulis of Rogersville, TN. Additional survivors include his Sister: Alice Hummer of Hampton, NJ, his Brother: Chester Staniulis of Hampton, NJ and his cherished Grandchildren: Paul, Eric, Rebecca, Sarah, Marc, Kelly, Scott, Christopher, Steven & Sean. Mr. Staniulis was predeceased by his Daughter, Carol Hansman in 1997.
Visiting Hours will be on Saturday, September 22nd from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. There will be a Catholic Blessing at 11:00 am also at Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Norton Cemetery in Bethlehem Twp., NJ.
