Obituary of Elizabeth J Sipos

Wife, Mother, Grandmother and flower gardener, Elizabeth (Liz) J. Sipos, 90 died Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at home in Lebanon, NJ.

Born in Hershey, PA., she was the daughter of the late Russell A. Bramwell and Nora J. Rauch of Mechanicsburg, PA.

Liz was a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School and shortly after graduation she held several civilian positions at military facilities: Document Processor at the Navy Base in Carlisle, PA, Secretary at the Army Base in Lemoyne, PA, and Medical Secretary at the Lyons VA Medical Center in Basking Ridge, NJ. She dedicated 37 years of service. Liz was recognized for her outstanding organizational skills and efficiencies by her supervisors and received numerous citations and awards. After her retirement she continued utilizing her skills at the family biopharmaceutical company that manufactured a "life sustaining pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy" drug used to treat patients suffering from Cystic Fibrosis, Chronic Pancreatitis and Pancreatic Cancer. At home, Liz loved gardening and decorating the garden with large rocks. She received a gift of gorgeous Peonies from her mother and took great care to transplant them when the family moved from Bethlehem, PA to Tewksbury, NJ.

Liz is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Dr. Tibor Sipos, her three sons: Tibor Jr. (friend Joann de Raismes) Sipos, Miklos Sipos (Annemarie Dorazio) and Gabor (Dawn) Sipos; grandchildren Michael, Paul and Kristen; sisters Pat Bievens, Rae Kautz, Millie Hoover, Jean Bretz of greater Harrisburg area, PA and sister Paula and niece Cindy Hanson of Salt Lake City, UT and sisters-in-law, Josephine (Josie) Bramwell of Carlisle, PA, Patricia Sipos and niece Caroline Ryan, Susan Sipos of Harrisburg, PA, Ethel and niece Monica Sipos of Hershey, PA, brothers-in-law Arpad K. Sipos of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Robert Pospichel of Gainesville, VA.

She loved her children and grandchildren and always took time to help them with school assignments, various art projects, piano lessons, swimming lessons, horseback ridings, skiing, soccer practice and many more activities. She was full of life and always laughed a lot. Liz loved traveling and visiting many of the beautiful National Parks of the USA from Maine down south to the Florida Keys. She always looked forward to spending part of the winter months at the Florida Keys. She Visited eleven European Countries, admiring the Swiss Alps, the interconnecting lakes, cog-rails while visiting castles, old churches and many architectural wonders of France, Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, England and Ireland. Summer times she loved to go sailing with the children and grandchildren at the Barnegat Bay NJ. Occasionally, she even challenged other sailboats to a race!

Liz was preceded in death by her bother Edward, sisters Leona and Joan.

After many years of productive life her health began to fade from complications of Parkinson's Dementia, advanced Diabetes, Ulcers and eventually Sepsis which ended her life. Three angels, Cecilia Plugariu, Tara Rollefsen and Mary Navarro under the guidance of Dr. David Rosen provided loving care and superior nursing services. Their compassionate care is greatly appreciated.

Private funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. A private Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Cokesbury, NJ.
