Driving home from St. Clare on a Sunday will be very sad without Mike. Giving him a ride home was something I looked forward to, my priviledge to spend a little time with this kind and wise soul. He loved talking about his daughter and grandchildren, so proud of all of them. Mike, thanks for the support and kindness that you showed to me and to my husband, Mike North. I am sure you are both in a wonderful place, sharing laughs.
In my very early days of recovery I spent every Saturday morning at the crossroads meeting with Mike. He had that gentle soft-spoken Way about him so honest so sincere. When I was struggling early on he said to me Pete you got to share what you going through no matter what type of meeting you are in. Those very words are what has kept me in the rooms since I met Mike thank you Mike I hope to see you someday in heaven may you rest in peace.

My condolences to Mike's family. He was such a nice man who always had a warm hello for me. He got around just fine for someone who didn't drive which I thought was great. I would see him at various meetings around the Island. He loved being around people. He was a 'staple' in AA and I will miss him.
