Obituary of Lois Adele Lee

Lois Adele (Heys) Lee, age 88, of Hampton, New Jersey passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ. Lois was born December 27, 1931 in Newark, NJ. She is the daughter of the late William A. Heys and the late Louise B. Peter.

Lois graduated West Side HS in Newark and later married her high school sweetheart. She took pride in raising her family of five children in South River, spending summers with them on Long Beach Island. She spent her life as a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was a proud grandmother and great grandmother, before tragically falling victim to the curse of Alzheimer's disease.

Lois is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jack of Hampton, NJ, sons John F. Lee, Jr of Lebanon Township, NJ and James F. Lee of Freehold, NJ, daughters Linda A. Cannon of Charleston, SC, Laura A. Branche of Pawleys Island, SC and Lisa A. Lee of Hampton, NJ, 13 grandchildren, Patrick Cannon, Steven Cannon, Sean Lee, Christine Lee, Megan Murphy, J.R. Branche, Travis Branche, Cole Branche, Julia Lee, James Lee, Jason Lee, Skylar Lee, and Sydney Lee, and 4 great grandchildren, sister Dorothy Leary, cousin Arthur Peter, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, William Heys and Louise Peter, sister Wilma Holder, and brother William Heys Jr.
