Obituary of Lorraine M. Buczek

Lorraine M. Buczek, age 74, of Clinton Township, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at her home while surrounded by her family. Lorraine was born on November 19, 1932 in Bayonne, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and the late Katherine (Smith) Bauer. She has been living in Clinton Twp., for the past 32 years. She was previously from Sayreville, NJ. Mrs. Buczek worked for Ethicon, a division of Johnson and Johnson in Bridgewater for 17 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in High Bridge. She delivered Meals on Wheels and was a volunteer at the Food Pantry in High Bridge. Mrs. Buczek and her husband Walter, enjoyed traveling, fishing and raising apples together. Her hobbies also included knitting. Most important, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by her family. She is survived by her beloved husband: Walter Buczek of Clinton Twp., NJ; her loving Daughter: Ellen McGowan of Bethlehem Twp., NJ; her dear grandchildren: Sarah and Matthew McGowan of Bethlehem Twp.; and her brother: Robert Bauer of Charleston, SC. She was predeceased by her parents and by her son-in-law, Michael McGowan who passed way in 2004. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, July 11th from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm & from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home in Clinton. A Funeral Mass will be will be celebrated on Thursday, July 12th at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's RC Church, 59 Main Street, High Bridge. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton.
