Obituary of Henry T. Bystrak

Henry T. Bystrak, age 69, of Summit, NJ passed peacefully on December 15th in the company of his daughters at the Morristown Medical Center. Henry was born in Summit, NJ on April 17, 1950 to Jack D. and Dorothy (Bubnis) Bystrak. He was employed as an auto mechanic at Flynn’s Garage in Summit for over 40 years. Henry was an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, crabbing and camping. He enjoyed hosting friends and family-from pig roasts to balloon fest parties. He always appreciated a good game of horseshoes or volleyball. Henry was known for his sarcasm and dry sense of humor and he found joy in making others laugh. Henry was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Walter and Priscilla. He is survived by his brother Jack; sisters, Doreen Harris, Robin Thome, Barbara Nolfo and Kim Gibson; daughters, Jessica (Bystrak) Medvedich, and Katie Bystrak-Niko; and his four grandchildren, Michaela, Jenna, Luke and Hailey. A memorial to celebrate Henry’s life will be held at later date in the Spring. Arrangements are under the care of Martin Funeral Home, Clinton NJ.
