Obituary of Jeffrey Darren Coover
Jeffrey Darren Coover, 33, of Clinton was found at home Friday, June 1. Mr. Coover is survived by his wife Christine Curtin; also of Clinton; his mother and father-in-law Laura and John Curtin of Forks, PA; his mother Paula Henry also of Clinton; his father John David Coover of Piscataway; his brother Robert B. Coover of Manhattan; and his maternal grandfather Raymond F. Henry of Emmaus PA, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. His sister, Jennifer Danielle Coover, predeceased him in February of 1977. Mr. Coover was born in Mt. Kisco, New York on February 27, 1974 and moved with his family to Hunterdon County in December of 1976. He attended Clinton Public School and North Hunterdon High School, where he learned auto repair. Mr. Coover was an automobile tech at Muller Toyota in Clinton for the past 5 years and had an aptitude for all things mechanical. He enjoyed cars and motorcycles, along with tattoo art, heavy metal music and animals, especially his cats and tropical fish. His family, however, was most essential to him and they will miss him dearly for his infectious smile and huge warm hugs. October 29, 2005, the day of his marriage to Christine Curtin, was the happiest day of his life. Mr. Coover was a graduate of the program at Freedom House, in Glen Gardner NJ, and a memorial fund has been established in his name for the program there. The family requests that donations to the memorial fund be made in lieu of flowers to The Freedom House, PO Box 367, Glen Gardner, NJ 08826.
There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at 2:00 pm at The Freedom House, 3 Pavilion Road, Glen Gardner, New Jersey 08826.
