Obituary of Arline Burdette

Arline Burdette, age 78, of Hampton, NJ passed away on Wednesday April 4, 2007 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ Mrs. Burdette was born on October 18, 1928 in New York City, NY and was the daughter of Joseph and Betty(nee Stone) Ferguson. She has been living in Hampton, NJ since 1981, she was previously from Teaneck, NJ and the Bergen County area. Mrs. Burdette was employed by the former Research Cottrell Company in Branchburg, NJ as a Bookkeeper. She was a member of the YMCA Senior Center, she also belonged to their Bridge and Writer's Group. She loved the Sunday Flea Market in Warrenville, NJ. She is survived by two daughters: Vicki Gardner & her Husband, Edward of Hampton, NJ and Barbara Ward & her Friend, Gary of Pine Bush, NY; her two sons: Keith Burdette & his Wife, Yarlie of Robbinsville, NJ and James Burdette & his Wife, Nicole of Media, PA Her Grandchildren: Andrew, Cassie, Lee, Matthew, Elizabeth, Drew, Haley and Quentin; and her step son: Everett Adelman of North Carolina. She was predeceased by her son: Michael Burdette in 1974. Visitation will be Friday, April 6th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, in Clinton, NJ. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 7th at 9:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery, Englewood, NJ - #201-568-1642. following the service.
