Obituary of Frederick J. Koerner Jr.

Frederick J. Koerner, Jr., age 91, of Union Township, NJ died Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township. Mr. Koerner was born January 10, 1916 in West Orange, NJ. He was the son of the late Frederick J. and the late Catherine(Nolan) Koerner. He served in the US Army from 1942 to1945 during World War II in Accra, Africa. He was employed by the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825 in Springfield, NJ. He has been living in Union Twp. for the past 37 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years: Alvera C. Mueller Koerner, his son: Frederick J. Koerner III and his wife Norene of Phillipsburg, NJ; his Daughter Karen Koerner of Hampton, NJ; his grandson, Spencer Koerner of Phillipsburg, NJ, his sister: Margaret Ambis of NJ. He was pre-deceased by Brothers: Edward & John Koerner.
