Obituary of Frank Richard Grohoski
Frank R. Grohoski, age 76, of Annandale, entered peacefully into eternal rest away on Monday, November 6, 2006 surrounded by his family at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ
Mr. Grohoski was born February 22, 1930 in Wilkesbarre, PA. He was the son of the late Frank Joseph Grohoski and the late Anna (Romascavich) Grohoski.
He has been living in Annandale for the past 6 years. He was previously from New Providence, NJ.
Frank was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 1952 with the rank of Sergeant after participating in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir in November and December of 1950 during the Korean War.
Mr.Grohoski was a Communications Technician for AT&T in Newark for over 25 years before retirng in 1995. In his retirement, he was a volunteer driver for the Red Cross and an active member of the Chosin Few - a Korean War Veteran Association.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years: Barbara (nee Sieben) Grohoski; His five children: David of Miami, Florida, Richard of Whitehouse Station, Lisa of High Bridge, Stasia Burke of Harwich, Mass, and Stefanie Collier of Newark, Delaware.
His daughters-in-law: Anna and Donna; his Sons-in-law: William Burke and Chris Collier.
His 9 grandchildren: Erika and Jacob Grohoski, Victoria Grohoski; Abigail, Olivia, and Emma Burke; Andrew, Melissa and Benjamin Collier. He also had 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister: Delores Ballister, along with nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Friday , November 10th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31 Clinton.
There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated on Saturday, November 11th at 10:00am at the Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale
