I met John about 2 years ago. We were in the same real estate class. We soon became friends and learned that we had several friends in common. I found out that I drove past John's house every day to and from work. From that point on I would always blow my horn as I passed if I saw that he was at home. John was usually sitting at the table in the morning and I would see his hand fly up in air to wave. I regret that I did not get to say good-bye to John and that he will no longer be there when I go by. These past few days I have felt an emptiness and a sadness as I pass by my friend's house. John was one of the nicest, sincerest guys I have ever met. He will truly be missed.

John Penn, Jr. was a good friend. He was always there for you if you needed help, advice, or encouragement. My husband and I knew we could always count on John. Now God can count on him too.
In loving memory,
