Obituary of Gladys Mary Lake

Gladys Mary Lake, 88, formerly High Bridge died Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township. Gladys was born September 16, 1918 in Hampton, NJ. She was one of six children of the late Archer Clark and the late Grace Sampson Clark. In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Lake worked for 3 years at the Hosiery in Washington and 10 years a Exact Level and Tool in High Bridge. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in High Bridge. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Hobart Chapter 63 in High Bridge. She is survived by two sisters: Selma Lake of Hampton, NJ, Elsie Sutton of Statesville, NC, And a brother: Archie Clark of CA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was Pre-deceased by her husband: Robert Lake (1996), her brother: Franklin Clark and her sister: Carolyn Zimmerman. Visitation will be on Monday, October 23rd from 5:00pm -7:00pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Rt 31 Clinton, NJ. Funeral Service will be held on Monday , October 23rd at 7:00pm at the funeral home following the visitation. Also, there will be an Eastern Star Service held at 6:30 pm.
