I did not know Debbie Harris as well as some. For the few weeks I worked with her, I felt instantly drawn to her-- she had this enormous smile and was kind of loud. I wish her stay here wasn't so short, but again, I'm glad I met her, period. To Deb's familiy-- I wish you sincere sympathies for your loss. May God bless you all.

Life is so fleeting, gone before you know it. Why does it go so fast for some? You had your say, but were gone before your point was made. I wish I'd had the chance to know you better than I did. May you rest in peace and may God hold your family in his hands.

Debbie always had a smile on her face, was spirited, bubbly and had a great sense of humor.
I use to sit in front of Debbie in Enrollment Services and remember the holidays and making Debbie a wreath to hang on the wall behind her desk. She was touch by the fact I had thought of her and I felt good, because she loved it!
I know that both of you were the most important people in her life. I know that you realize that she gave you her very best (also was very proud of you) and would want you to have a life filled with love, hope and meaning.
I was blessed to know you, Debbie may you rest in peace.

A rose once grew where all could see, sheltered beside a garden wall,
And, as the days passed swiftly by, it spread its branches, straight and tall...
One day, a beam of light shone through a crevice that had opened wide~
The rose bent gently toward its warmth then passed beyond to the other side...
Now, you who deeply feel its loss, be comforted ~ the rose blooms there~
Its beauty even greater now, nurtured by God's own loving care.

To Stephanie & Tom:
Your mom was one Strong woman! She was the woman King Solomon spoke about referring to a virtueous woman, "Strength and Honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come." Prov. 31:25
She will always be in our thoughts and her strength has made us all stronger.
God Bless and I pray that you will find comfort and strength in the Almighty - the giver of life!
Love,
