Obituary of Gabriel A. Ciancimino

Gabriel A. Ciancimino, age 80, of Oxford (White Twp.) passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006 at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Ciancimino was born August 5, 1926 in New York. He was the son of the late Carmine and the late Catherine (Marino) Ciancimino. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the VFW in Belvidere. He was a Post Office Supervisor in Secaucus, NJ for 35 years before retiring. Mr. Ciancimino was a parishioner of St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church in Belvidere. He was also an usher at the church. His hobbies included bowling and gardening. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years: Geraldine (Cavolo) Ciancimino; His loving daughters: Dorise Benson of High Bridge and Catherine Ruch of Jefferson Twp.; His dear Granchildren: Gabrielle, Juliana, Philip, Katie Rachel and Hannah; His dear sisters: Frances Liggio, Ann Baroncelli and Rose Ferdinando. Calling hours will be Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm & from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Patricks Church, 327 Greenwich Stree in Belvidere. Burial will be in St. Patricks Cemetery in Belvidere following the Funeral Mass.
