Obituary of Alma Adele Donst -Moore
Alma Adele Donst Moore, age 81, of Clinton passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus at her home on Wednesday September 27, 2006.
Alma was born October 14, 1924 in Boonton, NJ., She was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Mary M.(Hornick)Donst.
She graduated from Belvidere High School in 1942
Alma and her husband Robert A. Moore were married in 1958. He predeceased her 1995.
She has been living in Clinton for many years.
Alma Moore was an award winning Christian Missionary writer. She has been writing since the age of 9. Her work has been published in the United States, India and Japan. She is the author of a book of poetry called Poets Message. She also wrote the lyrics for God Is True, a church anthem. She wrote many articles for various local publications including in the Weekender Recorder Community Newspaper. She is listed in Whos Who of American Women, Whos Who of America, and Whos Who of the World. She was a member of the South Ridge Community Church in Clinton. She helped out the Ramabi Mukti Mission (Mission to India).
She is pre-deceased by her Husband: Robert, her twin brother: Alfred A. Donst and her brother,William.
She is survived by a Nephew: Alfred A. Donst Jr. and niece: Kristi L. Stem. She also leaves behind many loving friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 pm at South Ridge Community Church, 7 Pittstown Road, Clinton. Officiating will be Pastor Nathan Tuckey.
Burial will be in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton following the service.
