Obituary of Catherine Metrovich

Catherine Metrovich, age 84, of Raritan Township died Friday, September 15, 2006 at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township. She was born February 20, 1922 in Newark, NJ, the daughter of the late Fred and the late Edna (Evans) Boenig. She has been living in Raritan Twp. for the past 2 years. She previously lived in Glen Gardner and Tampa Florida. She worked as a Secretary for Hunts in Bridgeton, NJ for over 20 years. Before that she worked for Ballantine Beer and Ale in Newark, NJ. Catherine was a member of the VFW in Glen Gardner. Her hobbies included sewing which she loved. She is survived by her son: Charles Conklin of Long Valley, NJ her daughter: Catherine Coderoni of Glen Gardner, NJ, a brother: Carl Boenig of Tampa, FLA. She was also survived by 13 Grandchildren, a few Great-grandchildren and one Great-great Grandchild. She was predeceased by her sons: Daniel, John, Bill and Paul Conklin; Her first husband: John Conklin and second husband: Rudy Metrovich; her Brothers: Fred and Paul Boenig. There will be a Memorial Service held on Tuesday, September 19th at 11:00 am at the High Bridge Reformed Church in High Bridge. Tel # 908-638-8978 Interment will be held Privately.
