Obituary of Amedea I. Broadley

Amedea I. Broadley, age 91, of Tampa, Fla. died Wednesday, June 7th at the Melech Hospice House in Tampa, Fla. Mrs. Broadley was born July 15, 1914 in Hoboken, NJ the daughter of the late Ernesto and the late Ida (nee Squeri) Vannini. She was a Homemaker. She is survived by her Daughters, Barbara Broadley of Tampa, Fla.,& Mary Florence Eberhart or Nutley, NJ, her Son, Ernest Smith of Pikeville, TN, 3 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her beloved Husband, Joseph in 1981. She was very proud of being the Grandmother of a two time Olympic Gold Medal Winner, Michele Smith, who won the gold medal in the 1996 & the 2000 Olympic Games in Fast-Pitch Softball. Visiting Hours will be on Monday, June 12th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Graveside Service with interment immediately following the Visitation also on Monday at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Halstead Street, Clinton, NJ.
