Obituary of John J. Burrell

John J. Burrell, age 76, of Orange, NJ died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at East Orange General Hospital, East Orange, NJ. Mr. Burrell was born November 3, 1927 in Newark, NJ - the son of the late Rufus and the late Margaret (Ward) Burrell. He served in the Army during World War II . He was employed by NJ Bell in So. Orange, NJ as a Switchman for many years. He is survived by three daughters: Kathleen M. Blum of Clinton, NJ, Jill A. Parks of White Sulphur Springs, NY, Patty Rubino of Lake Mohawk (Sparta Twp.), NJ and one son: Michael J. Burrell of Sayreville, NJ. Mr. Burrell is also survived by his Sister, Peggy Burrell of Memphis, TENN. and his Brother, Robert Burrell of Memphis, TENN. As well as 8 Grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, October 14th at 11:00 am at Martin Funeral Home. All other funeral arrangements will be private and at the convenience of the family.
