As your birthday arrives, I cannot help but think of you and remember the boy who would come "home" to Leigh Street with Alex, and your huge smile, which was usually consealing a body that was full of mud, fire-crackers, camoflaged frogs and/or other "contra-ban" hidden within your bookbags or sometimes even in your socks,..and I cannot help but smile...We all think of you often, Brendon, and of your family as well. I wish for your Dad, Lisa and Mike---strength and God's blessings, and I know you are "in a better place." Knowing that gives me (us) comfort until we see you again. I light a candle in tribute to you to let others know that you are still loved and thought of daily, and to say that we all pray for you, your family and for all of us. God speed to you and yours. Lovingly, ~K~

I'm Alex Sciaretta's Mom. I wish to extend my deepest condolences to Brendon's family. He and Alex were dear friends for many years, and we were lucky enough to have him come to our shore house (as well as our regular home)on numerous occasions for weekends.
In addition to being a genuinely caring and delightful young man, he was perhaps the funniest! As Alex and I were talking this morning of some of the antics that they pulled together, we laughed until we cried.
We've spent many hours over the years laughing in his company, and we are all blessed and better for having been given the gift of his friendship and all of those wonderful memories.
Although his time here was short, he has left life-long impressions on the many lives he touched. He will live on FOREVER in our hearts and minds, and I thank God for having been given the opportunity to have had Brendon in our lives.

I loved Brendon, aka B- dog or Dizzle, so much. He was the sweetest, funniest, most spirited boy I've ever met. Even through some of the worst days, he never failed to make me laugh. We shared so many wonderful memories together and I'll always have a special place for him in my heart.

How many times can I say to myself and others that I will miss you?
The answer is the same number as the people you touched. While our years togeather were short, you meant so much to me, and still do. You seemed such a great person, and still do. You made me think about life, and now you really do.
Brendon, one of your journeys is complete. Ahead is thousands of more. My mind cannot comprehend the adventures that you will undertake. And the beings that you will touch
Power is a life, life is power. Your life ran out, but your power lives on. Everybody you touched will remember you. Your smile, your sense intellect, your unique sense of life, and mabye even your harmonica.
My life will never be the same, now that I know that you are gone. But with telling myself that you have gone to a better place I feel a great weight lift from my shoulders.
My sympathy is deep, my regret is building, my mind and heart hurts. You are so important to me, and always will be.
"Even though we really never talked that much, I considered you one of my best friends."
We did talk Brendon, we talked with out interests, humor, and our minds.
I will never forget you Brendon, and I know you will continue to be with us...Harmonica playing, crochet hat on, and a tea pot in one hand, and lo mein in the other, you will be with me for the rest of my life.
Magic Fingers till the end of time.
Respectfully,
Your Friend Patrick

My deepest and sincerest sympathies to Mark, Michael, Lisa, Mr and Mrs Ogonowski, Nancy and Richie, and ALL those whose lives were blessed with the sheer pleasure of knowing so fine a young man as Brendon. I will always remember with fondness his ease at bringing laughter into the stillness with his antics and broad smile.
I'm sure he's having fun right now playing with Dexter, making popcorn and chocolate chip cookies, and counting "one hen... two ducks... three squaking geese..........."
His memory will always hold a very special place in my heart.

We are saddened by the demise of Brendon. We knew him for just a short time but remember him with fond memories of how much he enjoyed life in general. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ogonowski Family. We, too, are sorry for your loss and remember the fine young man at our table on Christmas Eve a few years back. He had the greatest smile. May our Heavenly Father smile upon him now.

I had known Brendon as a student at Grove for some time and wrote the following at his passing...
"A Place Called Peace"
There is a place called PEACE.
My friend went there the other day.
I've never been, but I imagine it's nice.
My friend had been looking for a place to rest and this place called PEACE was at the botom of his list.
He looked for comfort at home, tried to find it by giving - even called out its name hoping for directions.
Well, the list grew smaller as you may imagine - but do not think my friend did not give each stop its due.
So desperately did he need a place to rest, that when this place called PEACE was all that was left, it was all that was left.
In this place called PEACE it is soothing and dim.
The din of the world echoes but softly.
Outwardly there is little to do in the place called PEACE, but know that all is as it should be, must be, needs to be.
I know all of this to be true for my friend came to me last night and told me so -
He also wished me to tell you he says a fond "hello"
Rest in Peace, Brendon

Brendon, it has been more than a year and i still cannot except that you are gone. I cannot let you go. You gave me love i had never been given and you inspired me to let go of the fear of being myself. Although i never really told you before, we have had, in our lives before grove, some similarities that i think sometimes created our relationship to be harder at points. You were wise and taught me alot that will not be forgotton. And although i have a boyfriend, he will never be you. I try so hard to believe that you are happy now, in a place that i am jealous of and feel i need to believe in. And it makes me sad thinking that you weren't happy here. I hope you know how much i love you because i never got the chance to tell you. Although i will never be the same, although i will never love the same, i am still happy that i had the love that i will grieve for the rest of my life. I'm sorry that we parted on bad terms. I LOVE YOU FOREVER. Melissa Anne Bonee

Brendon,
14 years have passed since you took your last breath. Still, not a day goes by that I don't think and reminisce about you. We had so many good times in the brief couple of years that we were friends. I considered you my brother back then, and I will continue to for the rest of my life. I miss you and wish we could talk again. You were always good at picking me up when I felt down. Thank you for the many great memories that I will never forget. I pray we meet again brother.

Brendon,
It has been more than 13 years since your passing. I still think of you daily, and will never forget the friendship that we had. I find comfort in your many visits (though it has been a few years) and hope to see you again soon. I want you to know that you have taught me so much about life, and while you were around in this realm, you made life more enjoyable. I still find myself laughing out loud reminiscing of all the crazy things that we did together. I hope that you and Gallon (Brendan Thomas) have found each other, and continue to look over everyone that loves you guys. May both of you rest in peace. If any of your family happens to read this, I hope they feel comfortable to contact me via the email that I provided with this message. Brendon AKA Dizz AKA Dizzle AKA B-Dog AKA the funniest and most genuine dude I've ever known, I love you brother. You will always be missed.
