Mrs. Casserly: Emily and I are your "backyard neighbors"; we're across from you in the back. Your husband and I both liked to BBQ and we'd often compare what each of us was cooking last summer. (It seemed he was always cooking a better meal than me!) While I didn't have the time or opportunity to know him well, Don seemed like a truly nice gentleman. I noticed the lights on at your house recently (when you'd normally be down south), but I just the past week found out from your neighbor Beverly that Don was very ill. Then we saw his obituary in the paper. We are both so very sorry for your loss. If there is anything we can do to help you at this time, please do not hesitate to call upon us. Sincerely & Respectfully, Jonathan and Emily.
