Obituary of Alice Morisie

Alice Morisie of Milford, NJ, and formerly of Staten Island, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born January 22, 1918 in Staten Island, NY. She is the daughter of the late August and the late Mary (Sharkey) Krieger. She was a longtime resident of Staten Island before moving to Milford, NJ 6 years ago. Alice was a devoted wife, married for 45 year to the love of her life, John who pre-deceased her in 2002. She was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. Alice enjoyed playing the piano, singing and spending time with her cherished grandchildren. She was a member of St. Ann Parish in Dongan Hills, Staten Island for many years. She is survived by her beloved children, Robert and Debra Morisie of Forks Twp., Pa, Sandra Morisie and Fred Habib of Holland Twp., NJ. Her dear grandchildren; Michael Morisie, Helena and Thomas Habib, Cami White, and Jared Porter. She is also survived by 8 cherished great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and her devoted caregiver, Magdalene. Alice was predeceased by her sisters; Marie and Katie and her brothers; Fred, Ed, Charlie and Jim and her loving beagles, Ali and Dolly. Alice's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Wednesday, July 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Rt. 31 in Clinton, NJ. There will be Funeral Mass celebrated on Thursday, July 31st at 12:00 pm at St. Ann Church in Staten Island, NY. Interment will be in the Moravian Cemetery in Staten Island immediately following the Mass.
