Obituary of Thomas A. Giordano

Thomas A. Giordano, age 80, of Glen Gardner, NJ died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Veterans Administration Hospital Lyons Campus in Bernards Twp., NJ, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Giordano was born September 28, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Thomas and the late Maria (Lomuto) Giordano. He resided in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Glen Gardner, NJ. Mr. Giordano was an auto mechanic and worked in the automotive industry for most of his life. He proudly serviced his country in both the US Army and the US Marine Corps. Thomas loved cars and attending car shows but most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his cherished grandchildren. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Joanne (Muccia), his daughter, Kathryn and his sons; Thomas, Peter and Andrew and their spouses Theresa, Jennifer and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Daniel, Liam, Leonora and Benjamin. Thomas's Life Celebration will include visitation on Tuesday, July 22nd from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home. There will be a funeral mass on Wednesday, July 23rd at 10:00 am at St. Ann RC Church, 6 Church St., Hampton, NJ. The interment will immediately follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Clinton Twp., NJ.
