Obituary of Richard George McCall

Richard George McCall, age 85, of Glen Gardner, NJ passed peacefully with his beloved family by his side on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the Marlton Virtua Hospital in Marlton, NJ.  Richard was born February 13, 1934 in Buffalo, NY. He is the son of the late George Edward and the late Claire (Collins) McCall.

 Richard grew up in upstate New York, served 2 years in the Army, and attended Le Moyne College where he met his wife of 60 years, Martha. He worked 38 years at Thomas & Betts Corp, where he ultimately served as the Executive Vice President of National Sales and Marketing.  

 He is survived by his loving wife: Martha (Evans) McCall, four daughters: Elizabeth King and husband Paul; Katherine Kuchova and husband Kevin, Sara Broderick and husband John and Cynthia McCall; one son: Steven McCall and wife Jennifer; Grandchildren; Leah, Sarah, Eric, Ryan, Carly, Michael, John, Kelia, Jack, Thomas, Garrett and Casey; Great Grandchildren, Grady, Elena, August and Callie; and brother, Steven McCall  His brothers, James and Peter, predeceased him.

 Relatives and friends may gather for visitation Thursday, July 25 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 0809 and Friday, July 26 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. John Neumann Church, 398 County Road 513, Califon, NJ. 

 A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 26 at St. John Neumann Church, following the morning visitation. Entombment with military honors will follow mass at the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ 08801. Dick was a patient at the center and received excellent treatment from the director of the program, Dr. Adena Leder.
