Pat and Family,
I will miss my friend in many ways. Terry was like a box of chocolates since I never knew whether our visit or talk was going to be sweet or tart. BUT it always turned out to be good since one of us always came out learning something new. (usually I was the winner).
He was smart, his own man, straight forward, intimidating, but also a good listener.
We both owned a BSA motorcycle which was a common link but his was nicer (so he said).
I asked him once about why he decided to jump out of airplanes while in the Army. I was told it was a hell of a ride and he only thought about a hard landing - if anything. I think that prepared him for parts of his future life.
Well now he is in the sky again and won't have to worry about any hard landings. It will be a while for all of you to get over this, but you have a lot of good memories.
