Obituary of Kenneth R. Horbatt

Kenneth R. Horbatt, age 67, of Annandale NJ died Thursday, December 10, 2015 at home. Kenneth was born May 24, 1948 in Perth Amboy, NJ. He is the son of the late John and the late Jessie Pearl (Kreudl) Horbatt. He was employed by Diagnostic Stago as a Senior Systems Support Engineer in Parsippany, NJ. Ken was a Lionel Train enthusiast, pianist and a HAM Radio operator, he loved gardening and working around the yard. Ken enjoyed computers and was a talented electrical engineer. Christmas time was his favorite time of year and he cherished his time spent with his grandchildren and family. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-three years wife: Barbara (Westervelt) Horbatt, daughter: Katie and her husband Jim McGowan of Readington, NJ and two sons: Brent Horbatt of Alpha, NJ, Kevin and his wife Heather Horbatt of Milford, MI. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Alyssa, Tyler, and Kyleigh. Family and friends may gather on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am at the funeral home on Monday December 14. Interment will be private at a later date.
