I'm thinking of Gail on this beautiful, sunlit morning. She was a wonderful friend and colleague, one of the most warm, genuine and giving people I've ever met. Through our work with Tri-County Reading Council over the years, we shared a love of children, literacy education and our Habitat for Humanity Literacy Project. I'll miss our Tri-C gatherings at Gail's welcoming home: time spent collaborating, laughing, eating and enjoying each other's company.
I love you, Gail. My heart goes out to your family, friends and all of the children and parents you changed, just by being you. May the love you so freely shared in your lifetime circle back to them ten-fold.
